With a strong background in big mountain snowboarding, Ralph Backstrom is a rider with a promising future. Besides snowboarding, Ralph Backstrom has also excelled on the academic side, graduating from Western Washington University in December 2005. This Squaw Valley resident, was invited to the 2007 X-Games by placing 2nd at Jabra X in January 2007, and now looks forward to showing his skills at The North Face Masters first stop, in Snowbird, UT.
