Day one part two as we called today wrapped up on the forbidden terrain of the Cirque at Kirkwood Mountain Resort. The weather threw everything it had at us today with wind, snow, and sun for the final part of they day. Athletes slayed the epic terrain with 20" of fresh Tahoe pow on the venue. Athletes like Andy Finch of Northstar and Tim Valcourt of Cannon Mountain laid down impressive runs with high speed slashes and big airs. Locals like Joe Forrest and Adam Devargas held their own among this world class field of riders. The finals will be held on the skiers right side of the Cirque where high exposure and big terrain will be the place of the final showdown.
